During the month of July we are having a Pre Fringe social festival of learning and gigging at the Pear Tree in Edinburgh.
We have the stage for the month and we are inviting bands, theatre, poetry and art to come along and share your fun. If you would like to play live on the stage then the first step is to get in touch by filling in the form below and tell us all about your act. Let us know as much as possible so that when we write you up, we got something good to say and great for the fans to read and remember to add links to anything you have on the Internet.
Thanks for getting involved and we’re looking forward to meeting you. We are planning a meeting for everyone getting involved before we start so we’ll let you know when and it will give everyone a chance to find out more and get a handle on things. In our workshops we want to be able to help you integrate all your websites, social media, YouTube Channels and stream any future act you do to the Internet live. It’s also a time to share our experiences and learn from each other.

We want to welcome all expression of art and performance so please feel welcome to get involved.
This is an over 18+ venue
- No Drum kits though electronic drums or a Cajon Drum can be used with consideration. This is a beer garden in a residential area so you may need to think about your set.
- Anyone who has played at the Pear Tree before will already know this.
- Hours are daily between 11am and 7pm
- Non musical acts are allowed to perform after 7pm
